It was but a brief discussion in class that was about a cartoon that was handed out in class. In the brief discussion, I had compared it to myself. Which at first, I simply laughed in my head about it, but with further thought, I could say that I do this too. I simply say to myself that I am a Master of Procrastination, but it is simply a way to make myself feel better.
In the cartoon, it was simple but direct and to the point as to why the man could not write. The cartoon gives a simple explanation as to why the man could not write.

Procrastination is weird for me. There are times where I feel I desperately need to write something to remain emotionally healthy, but I can’t overcome the terror of a glowing white screen. Other times I can get hit with a wave of inspiration after 10 PM and the realization I haven’t felt productive the entire day. All that to say I definitely struggle with prostrating and don’t have the magical way to fix it. As Douglas Adams said, “It takes an awful long time to not write a book.”

Brandy, “Procrastinating” offers a thoughtful look at the Joe Dator cartoon that we examined in class. Eliminating repetition and including more concrete, significant details would strengthen the writing. For instance: what particular items in the cartoon’s caption are ones that are forms of procrastination for you? Note that there should be a space after the comma in the caption. Also, 2020 should be followed by p. 39. I inadvertently left that off of the copies that I distributed in class. Also note that your blog post should include an image that documents part of your writing process away from the screen.

Brandy the direct simplicity of your explanation of the provided graphic highlights the blunt and straightforward approach best for the elimination of procrastination thus becoming an interesting happenstance of meta commentary that is delightful to read.
